PASSING GRADE IS 50% AND ABOVE
Character traits are graded by the class adviser based on the integrated values education which include in the daily class schedule. Grades are represented by a letter symbol.
Interpretation of Marks
A* 90-100% – Excellent
A 80-89% – Very Satisfactory
B 70-79% – Good
C 60-69% – Satisfactory
D 50-59% – Needs Improvement
E 0-49% – Poor

GRADE IGCSE MARKS
A* – 90-100%
A – 80-89%
B – 70-79%
C – 60-69%
D – 50-59%
E – 40-49%
F – 30-39%
G – 20-29%
Honors and Awards for High School
To motivate pupils/students to strive for excellence, honors and awards are given to deserving pupils/students before the end of each term.
Promotion Rules
To maintain academic standards, the following rules have to be met by pupils.
Promotion:
A pupil/student who obtains a general average of 50% and above is promoted to the next grade level.
Retention:
A pupil/student who fails in any three academic subjects regardless of the general average in all subjects will be considered to have failed in her/his grade level and might therefore be recommended to repeat the same grade/year level. Proper deliberation between the teachers and administration will take place before a final decision is taken. The parents will be informed after the deliberations.
Dismissal:
A pupil/student who still fails in the three academic subjects consistently will be refused admission the following year. A pupil/student who is subjected to major disciplinary action will be dismissed from school. (See Guidelines on Disciplinary Cases)
Honors and Awards
To motivate pupils/students to strive for excellence, honors and awards are given to deserving pupils/students before the end of each term.
ACADEMIC AWARDS
First Term:
A pupil/student who gets an average of at least 85% and above in academics and has no grade lower than 80% in any subject will qualify for the White Certificate Award.
A pupil/student who gets an average of at least 83% in academics and has no grade lower than 80% in any subject will qualify for the Blue Certificate Award.
Second Term:
A pupil/student who gets an average of at least 88% and above in academics and has no grade lower than 85% in any subject will qualify for the White Certificate Award.
A pupil/student who gets an average of at least 85% in academics and has no grade lower than 83% in any subject will qualify for the Blue Certificate Award.
Third Term:
A pupil/student who obtains an average of 90% and above in academics and has no grade lower than 88% in any subject will qualify for the Academic Excellence Certificate.
The top 3 honor students should obtain a general average of 85% and above and a yearly average / final grade of 80% and above in any subject.
