SMIS-Quelimane – The Curriculum
Stella Maris International School is a private institution which uses a Cambridge Curriculum in Mozambique. It aims to provide quality education to the children using English as a medium of instruction. The school is non-selective, thus, accepts and gives fair treatment to all children regardless of their nationality.
The school offers a wide variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities for students of all ages. Aside from the academic being taught, Portuguese lessons from Grade 3 to 10 are compulsory. Hence, the children are equipped with both the English and Portuguese languages. Also included among the co-curricular activities are sports and educational trips.
